I am peripatetic. I tend to roam not home: I’m talking to you Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, and…Paris.

I started this blog in 2012 when my sister Joan and I planned a three month stay in Paris (we are two of eight Pierman sisters; thus, “PiermanParis”). Joan is seven years older than I am and she brought me a Marie Antoinette doll from Paris in the ’70s. I still have the doll. And I never got over my love affair with Paris.

All these years later, my blog topics include Paris…of course…I go whenever I can for as long as I can. But now I write when find inspiration in The Nouns–people, places and things. And I try to find humor in life because without laughter, what’s left?

I thank you for reading and invite you to follow my journey through life and while you’re at it, I hope you will fall in love with Paris.

  1. What an absolutely lovely story! I also fell in love with French via my high school teacher, and have traveled there often. It’s wonderful that you’re living your dream – and with your sister. How Cool! Can’t wait to read more. All the best, Terri

  4. I have been infatuated with Paris for decades, to the extent that I even wrote a book about one of our family vacations. And to find out that you’re also from Oklahoma? Well, we might have to become best friends… 😉

      1. Ah, yes, we come from two different worlds (especially since I now live in Dallas). There are just certain boundaries that one must not cross. We’ll just discreetly follow each other and deny everything if probing questions are asked… 😉

  15. Thanks for following my blog. I followed you as well. I will be thinking and praying about your kids. I realised what I put my parents through when I was addicted. I love France historically it has lots of connections to Scotland. Richard
