A Canadian, an Aussie and an American board a bus…

Anne (French-Canadian), James (Aussie), and Linda (American) are sick but had no choice to load up yesterday because we moved from Portugal to Spain. That makes seven of our group of 14 who’ve been ill. These three were so thoughtful to dispurse to the forward, center and back of the bus to insure the rest of us have maximum exposure.

Turns out The Husband’s new friend, Kate, aka Dr. Katherine Burke, is a renowned author and lecturer with a PhD in agricultural science (The Husband, a lowly lawyer, has acquired a mad case of imposter’s syndrome). Already, Kate has written a paragraph for her next book featuring The Husband. It’s the damndest thing.

That’s Kate (left) rocking out to We are the World. She’s the cutest.

The bus ride took more than 6 hours with a stop at Seville in the middle. This city warrants a return visit but we were there for only 3 hours so no current rating.

Our new hotel in Marbella, Spain, sits on the ocean with a view (albeit a long range one) of the Rock of Gibraltar. How crazy is that? Oh, look! Africa!

Below, photos of today’s golf at San Rogue— a beautifully manicured course with ocean views near Malaga, Spain. We are nearing the end.  What a fine trip we’ve had so far.

My 4-some today (Leslie, Les, Kate and me)

The Husband—who once said I looked beautiful while I was prepping for a colonoscopy and I had a fever blister—has stopped taking my photo declaring, “That eyebrow has got to go”.

He’s not wrong. Sigh.
