Yesterday I woke up a little grumpy. I sat unsmiling at the breakfast table and Krystal asked, “Which side of the boat are you on?” Without glancing her way I said with no lilt, “The side with the f*cking tree frogs.” She nodded, then we both sipped our coffee in silence.
Buddhists think if you do bad you are reincarnated into something horrible. I don’t want to know what atrocities these FTFs have committed.
We made it through the day. The boat was docked and the evening was free. My mom always said idle hands are the Devil’s work.
Spud had arranged for all of us to go into town for dinner (Click here for info) and whenever Spud is in charge there’s always drink.
To get to dinner we traveled by motorized Tuk Tuk, four people in each. These photos were all taken before “dinner” (wink, wink).

And these were taken after:

We went by an awesome global center:

By the time we got to the Skybar, Hap couldn’t remember how to “start an elevator”:

Not gonna lie, this morning was a slow start for me and The Husband. But we were not alone. Even Jackie Chan is hungover today. Shore time, am I right?

I did manage to get a good photo of Cap last night though.

And to think, some people record the sound of tree frogs and sell it as “white noise,” to help people sleep.

It looks like you’re having a good time in Phnom Penh, Alison, despite the FTFs. I hope your good times and safety continue.
