I’m still coming off my high from petting Reg yesterday. That’s what I’m blaming my golf game on today.
Also there were too many sand traps. Who do I see about that?
Didn’t help that there weren’t bathroom breaks at every third hole.
It could be the jet lag. I’m still getting over missing October 2.
What I’m saying is they stacked the odds against me and I ended up in last place.
I found Huntington to be a nice course, truly not as difficult as my score would have you believe. But the weather, man. Can we talk about the Melbourne weather? We’ve had wind, rain and clear skies and virga all in the same day. (My friend, Tippy Gnu, challenged me to use virga in a sentence on my blog.)

Princess is still down for the count. Too bad because we met Prince Charming today.

My caddy was Jack. He was the sweetest kindest young man. By the end though he was telling me I should just take some lessons and work on my basic skills. My friends back home know I probably practice more than anyone and have had lessons a-plenty.
No that wasn’t the problem. It was the virga.
Dinner last night at LucyLui:

That darned virga, it can really mess around with someone’s golf game. I hope you pointed it out to your Aussie caddy, and left him thoroughly confused.

It’s a good word. Now I have to use it two more times.
